About the Author
Dr. Brian Bowman is a tuba player, teacher, and author. He is currently the Professor of Tuba at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Dr. Bowman has performed with a wide variety of ensembles, including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic. He is also the author of several books on tuba playing, including The Tuba Sourcebook and The Tuba Player's Guide to the Orchestra.
