About the Author

Henry Drummond was a Scottish evangelist, author, and professor. He was born in Stirling, Scotland, in 1851. He studied at the University of Edinburgh and the Free Church College in Edinburgh. After graduating, he served as a minister in the Free Church of Scotland. In 1883, he published his first book, Pax Vobiscum. The book was a huge success, and it has been translated into more than 30 languages.

Drummond was a gifted speaker and writer. He had a deep understanding of the human heart, and he was able to communicate his message in a clear and compelling way. He was also a passionate advocate for social justice. He spoke out against poverty, inequality, and war. He believed that the Christian faith had a vital role to play in creating a more just and peaceful world.
