John A. Garcia is Professor of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. He is the author of several books on education reform, including Lessons from New Orleans: Education Reform and the Role of the Federal Government.
James P. Connell is Professor of Education and the Director of the Center for Globalization and Educational Studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
