Naomi Shihab Nye The Naomi Letters (American Poets Continuum 186)

Naomi Shihab Nye is an award-winning American poet, writer, and educator. Born in 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri, she is the daughter of a Palestinian father and an American mother. Nye has published numerous books of poetry, including "Fuel," "Yellow Gloves," and "The Tiny Journalist." Her work has been widely anthologized and translated into more than 30 languages.
